Refund policy

Draft refund and cancellation principles for ZONED subscriptions.

Launch draft, last updated May 8, 2026. This page should be reviewed and adapted by a qualified legal advisor before public launch, especially for GDPR, consumer protection, subscriptions, youth users, digital content rules, and local Impressum requirements.

Beta access

If ZONED is offered as a free beta, no subscription charge is made for beta access unless a separate paid offer is clearly shown and accepted.

Trials

If a free trial is offered, the checkout page should state trial length, included features, when billing begins, renewal price, renewal period, and how to cancel before billing.

Subscriptions

Users should be able to cancel a subscription through the account page or payment provider. Cancellation should stop future renewals but may not automatically refund past paid periods unless required by law or stated at checkout.

Digital content

Audio sessions are digital content. Refund and withdrawal rights for digital content depend on the user's country, timing of access, consent to immediate access, and applicable consumer law. This section must be reviewed before paid launch.

Mistaken charges

Users can contact [billing@zoned.works] about duplicate charges, technical access problems, or billing mistakes. Add your final billing support process before launch.

Payment provider

If payments are handled by a third-party provider, refunds may also be subject to that provider's rules and processing timelines.
